How to Apply For Residence
Step 1: Get your CCID
To apply for residence, you will need your Campus Computing ID (CCID). You will be issued a CCID within 72 hours of applying for admission to a program (you do not need to be accepted or conditionally accepted to get a CCID).
Step 2: Submit your application and pay the fee
Log in below with your CCID and fill out the application form. Pay the $25 non-refundable application fee by credit card and submit.
Step 3: Confirm your space
In late spring, Residence Services begins sending out room offers to students who have been fully accepted to one of their program choices. Check your UAlberta Gmail inbox regularly for a room offer and accept it by completing the confirmation contract linked in the email - you will need to pay a $500 residence deposit, which goes toward your first months' rent, to secure your space.
